Abigail & Francois

Our story began on the netball court — a place that would come to mean far more to us than just a game. We first noticed each other there, though it took a little while before our paths truly crossed. After some very subtle (and not-so-subtle) social media “research” on Francois’ part, we eventually met properly through netball — a sport that quickly became a shared passion and a constant in our lives.

We started dating, learning more about each other both on and off the court. Like any real love story, it wasn’t always smooth sailing, and we took a short break along the way. But sometimes life has a way of bringing you back exactly where you’re meant to be. During a netball match, Abigail was injured, and as Francois helped her off the court, she held onto him tightly — not wanting to let go. In that quiet, unexpected moment, we both knew. What we had wasn’t ordinary at all — it was meant to be.
